A month of Thanksgiving.

All over Facebook this month has been the Thanksgiving challenge. I haven't done it cause I am not the type of person to post something everyday & if we are being honest than I will have to admit that I would probably forget to do it. So I figure I could do it on here and get it all done at one time. So here goes nothing :) & I like things colorful so don't judge!

My 30 days of Thanksgiving:

Day 1: I am thankful that the good lord let me wake up to see another day.
Day 2: I am thankful for central heating and air cause even down here in the south it tends to get a little chilly during the winter. Burr!!!
Day 3: I am thankful for my job. I know in this economy it's hard to find one and I am lucky to have mine.
Day 4: I am thankful for the opportunity to go to college and better myself academically. It took me a few years to go back but hey better late than never, right?
Day 5: I am thankful to worship a God that loves me know matter what and always shows forgiveness to all his children.
Day 6: I am thankful to live in a country where I am free to worship freely.
Day 7: I am thankful for the American soldiers who fight to give us that right & I am also lucky enough to have some of those soldiers in my family and a few as good friends. Thank you guys!
Day 8: I am thankful for a loving mother who gave me life and will always love me know matter what.
Day 9: I am thankful for my nana. she is not my biological grandmother but her daughter and my sister have been best friends since they were little & they took me and the rest of my family in as there own.  She treats me and my sisters like one of her own & I love her to death.
Day 10: I am thankful for the time he gave me to spend with 2 of the greatest women in the world, my mawmaw and my granny. They were both taken to heaven in the same year but I know God gained 2 of the best angels he could ever have.
Day 11: I am thankful for the 3 sisters that my daddy blessed me with. (More about them later).
Day 12: I am thankful for the most amazing daddy a girl could ask for. He is the strongest, loving, gentle man I know. He has been the one constant thing that I have had throughout my life. Even when he was working out of town & I couldn't see him as much I always knew he loved me & that he was doing whatever he had to do to provide for us. He is my rock and I don't know what I would do without him. I love him so much.
Day 13: I am thankful for Elizabeth. She is my oldest sister and has been somewhat of a mother figure at times. She let me and my best friend from high school invade her house for 6 months so that we could go to college away from home. We had a blast. She never cared if we brought friends over and stayed up all night. I have done so many things with her and had so many opportunities because of  her that I would not have had without her. I don't tell her thank you near enough & I need to do it more often. I love her to death.
Day 14:  I am thankful for my sister Stephanie. She is the sister that I am most alike. We can talk on the phone for hours about makeup and clothes and stay up all night watching make up videos on YouTube. We can go to dinner and shopping for hours and not buy a thing. Whenever I get a new outfit or see a new purse that has come out she is the first one I call. If i ever have trouble deciding what i want to wear or how to do my makeup than she is the girl for me to call. She lives a little over a hour away but we still remain so close no matter what. She is one of my closest friends and I fell like I can tell her anything and she will keep my secret. I love to go stay at her house even if it is just for a over night trip. She is the one I try all my new recipes with and unlike my other sisters she will go eat sushi with me with no problem. I love her and am so thankful for her.
Day 15: I am thankful for my little sister Allie. Now this girl is my world. She is the youngest of us 4 girls and the baby, which she doesn't let anyone forget it. She is one of my best friends and we have been to hell and back together. She is stubborn and strong willed and has had to deal with more than I could ever imagine having to deal with & even though it may get her down sometimes she has never let it break her. She is so smart and gorgeous and caring and loving. She would give you the shirt off her back if she thought you needed it or tell you to get off your rear end & get a job if that is what she thought you needed to do. When they say dynamite comes in small packages that is so true. I know I have spoiled her a lot through the years but that is what big sisters are suppose to do. right? I love this girl more than life itself and I wouldn't be half the person I am today without her.
Day 16: I am thankful for my brother in law Kyle. Kyle and my sister have been married for as long as I can remember. I honestly don't remember much of my life before they got married. He has always been a shoulder for me to cry on. He has scared the ever living hell out of me before but he also taught me how to take a joke and how not to take how what everyone says about me to heart.
Day 17: I am thankful for my brother in law Mike. Even though I only met him like  2 days before he married my sister I am glad she married him. He has turned into a country boy since they got married and he is always up for late night TV shows or talks when I come over.
Day 18: I am thankful for Raven Leigh. She is my oldest niece and the one who is teaching me that I should have been a lot nicer to my parents during my preteen years. She is now 11 and growing up way to fast. I am gonna have to beat some boys up cause she is one gorgeous girl. I try to be the kind of aunt that she can talk to know matter what because I always want her to feel comfortable around me. She is so smart and reminds me so much of her aunt allie that it is not even funny. She is grow up to do such amazing things and I can't to be there to see her grow into an amazing young lady.
Day 17: I am thankful for Will. Will is my only nephew and one of the smartest kids ever when it comes to electronics. Like seriously! That little boy knows more about computers than I ever thought about knowing. He can take one apart and put it back together on no time. He is compassionate, kind hear-ted and considerate.
Day 18: I am thankful for Sara Faith. She is 6 going on 20. She is one of the sassiest little girls I know and thinks she rules the world. She probably will one day. She has an attitude but you can't stay mad at her because she is so cute. She is so full of life and keeps me on my toes.

Day 19: I am thankful for June Claire. Now this little girl has my heart. She was born prematurely but you couldn't tell it now. She has so much energy that sometimes I can't keep up with her. Whenever I am having a bad day I can see her or talk to her and she always makes me feel better. She helps me remember not to take the little things in life for granite.
Day 20. I am thankful for Amanda. She is truly my best friend. She has been with me through thick and thin. She is my cousin by birth but my friend by choice. I like to call her my sister cousin because we are more like sisters than cousins. She is my date on random sushi nights and movie nights. She is the chick that will ride to Wal Mart in the middle of the night with me just cause I want to get out of the house. I love this girl and trust her with every aspect if my life.
Day 21: I am thankful for my small town. It may not be much to others but it's home to me.
Day 22: I am thankful for my family. We may seem crazy and out there to most but we mean the world to each other.
Day 23: I am thankful for technology because it allows me to keep in touch with parts of my family that lives far away.
Day 24: I am thankful for Face Time because it allows me to chat with old and new friends.
Day 25: I am thankful for my "niece" Tonya. She is technically related to me but I have known her since she was a baby. She is 16 and a awesome young lady. Sometimes when I am talking to her I forget she is just 16 because sometimes she seems very grown up for her age. I love spending time with her and love her to death.
Day 26: I am thankful for my iPhone cause I am addicted to it and would be lost without it.
Day 27: I am thankful for DVR because I am never home to watch my shows lol.
Day 28: I am thankful for my ceiling fan because without it I wouldn't sleep near as good.
Day 29: I am thankful for friends who mean the world to me and are there for me and love me no matter how bad I screw up.
Day 30: I am thankful for my crazy chaotic life. I may get stressed out and tired at times but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

Daddys girl

(Excuse the sun in the eyes look & my casper legs)
This man right here is my daddy. He is one of the strongest and most amazing man I know. He is my protector, my rock and my friend. He will give you the shirt of his back and will help anybody out anyway he can. We may not see eye to eye but I know if I truly need him he will always be there no matter the place or the time. My whole life he has always worked in construction and he is of of the best in the business. He has diabetes and lately they have gotten worse due to a infection in his foot. He had been on pick line antibiotics for 6 weeks to try and get rid of the infection. They did not work. We found out today that they are gonna operate tomorrow and take his foot off. If you know anybody that works in construction then you know they are always up on the feet and due to the infection my dad has not been able to work. Now ask yourself if you were 53 years old and had been doing construction work since high school and suddenly you couldn't do anything but sit on a couch, what would happen to you. Yep you got it! He is going stir crazy! He has never been one to sit around all day and not do nothing. He is stubborn (which is were I swear I get it from.. but sshh don't tell him that) & does not like to be told to take it easy and sit down. I'm not really sure why I am writing a post on this except for maybe it's a way for me to get my feelings out. You see I have a little sister who is about 2 years younger than me and alot closer to my dad than I am. They have an amazing relationship and this is hitting her really hard. I guess by putting how I feel on here then maybe it will help me stay strong for her and not break down in front of her. I know when they wheel my daddy back into surgery  tomorrow is gonna take every ounce of strength I have not to loose it because I know when he comes out he will not look the same as when he went in. If you know anything about my family then you know these past couple of years has been hell on us. Between my dad having a triple bypass, both of my grandmothers dying in the same year, my sister getting cancer, beating it and then getting it again, and now this, it has been rough. But somebody told me something today that reminded me that the man upstairs is always in control. God WILL NOT give you more than you can handle. At the end of the day I am scared and nervous for my daddy but I know God is in control and will bring him through this.
Daddy, I love you more than words can ever explain. You have so many people here supporting you. I know you must be scared but always remember God is in control. You have 2 of the most amazing guardian angels in heaven watching over you and I know mawmaw and pawpaw know everything is gonna be okay. You are the greatest dad a girl could ever ask for and I know you will make it through this and be stronger in the end. You can do this. Like you always say "I have faith in you"
I love you!

Now I'm done rambling lol
